We have Symantec Endpoint V12.1.5 (12.1 RU5) build 5337 I have to re enable it then disable and browse again. If this window of times expire even though I have it set to disable, Symantec stops it from browsing again. Plus with our IT limits and Symantec endpoint protection, When I disable it I only get maybe a 2 minute window to browse. I have tried talking to Siemens tech support and was not able to get the information I needed. I have tried this, but our IT person asked my to contact Siemens and find out what exceptions he had to make.
I just sent the settings made with the security controller program to our IT specialists and hope they have an answer.Maybe you should do the same
